This presentation entitled 'The Role of ARMFA in Road Asset Management' was made by Nehemiah Kapofi, Senior Engineer at the Road Fund Administration of Namibia on November 25, 2019 at SSATP's Annual General Meeting in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It presents the objectives of the African Roads Maintenance Fund Association (ARMFA) and its role in road asset management (RAM): (i) ensuring support to the implementation of RAM; (ii) Procedures for monitoring and evaluation in order to attain 'value for money'; (iii) consultations, networking and sharing of information and best practice; (iv) RAM systems are developed and operational; (v) ensure investments are made in the preservation of the road asset.
