Presented by Stefan Atchia at SSATP's Annual General Meeting in Victoria Falls, this presentation provides an overview of African Cities Diagnostic conducted by the African Development Bank (AfDB). It posits that Africa is urbanizing faster than any other region and summarizes urban challenges that may arise related to inclusiveness, waste management, informal housing, urban infrastructure and climate change impacts. It also presents the AfDB's cities diagnostic tool with 5 African cities as pilot cases: Libreville, Dodoma, Bizerte, Conakry and Antananarivo.
