At the Africa Road Transport Forum held on April 17-18, 2013 in Johannesburg, South Africa, Justin Runji presented SSATP's work on Road Traffic Safety. SSATP plays a major advocacy and facilitation role, working with continental bodies, regional economic communities, corridors and countries to:

  • Strengthen policy formulation
  • Strengthen capacity of Road Safety Lead Agencies
  • Strengthen Road Safety Strategies
  • Promote implementation of high-impact interventions
  • Share good practices
