In collaboration with the Federation of East and Southern African Road Transport Associations (FESARTA), SSATP co-organized a Regional Economic Communities Transport Coordination Committee (REC-TCC) Meeting during the Africa Road Transport Forum held in Johannesburg, South Africa on April 15-16, 2013.
The main topics of discussion were: (i) an update on the status of the Transport Observatory Program and core Indicators; (ii) validation of the Regional Integration component for a future SSATP DP3; and (iii) transformation of the REC-TCC and the creation of a continental network for regional integration.
